I have observed that many of the PC users don't khow how to install an OS (Might be windows or Linux) without buying an OS DVD or they don't wanna invest money in buying those DVD's .
Also,some of the users can't use those DVD's just because they don't have a DVD Writer .
well , IF you are one of them,the easiest solution for you to install an OS would be to create an Bootable pendrive .
To create a bootable pendrive, you need to follow the following steps provided below
STEP 1: Format the pendrive through which you want to install the OS
STEP 2: Download the iso file of the OS through any website (Torrents would be the best )
STEP 3: Download the powerISO applicion from "http://www.poweriso.com/download.php" and install it
STEP 4: Now follow the following instructions :-
- Start PowerISO
- Insert the USB drive you intend to boot from.
- Choose the menu "Tools > Create Bootable USB Drive". The "Create Bootable USB Drive" dialog will popup. If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7 / 8 operating system, you need confirm the UAC dialog to continue.
- In "Create Bootable USB Drive" dialog, click "..." button to open the iso file of Windows 7 or Windows 8.
- Select the correct USB drive from the "Destination USB Drive" list if multiple USB drives are connected to the computer.
- Choose the proper writing method. "USB-HDD" is recommended.
- Click "Start" button
Now , you have successfully created the USB ,you intend to boot from . Next,you need to install the os from the USB. Now if you just insert the USB and restart the PC and expect that the installation procedure would start,it won't work . for this to work , you need to change boot priority by editing the bios settings
To open Bios settings :- Pay close attention to the first screen that appears. Look for a message that indicates which key you need to press in order to access the BIOS. That key is likely to be:
--A Function key (such as F1, F2, or F3)
--The Esc key
--The Delete key
now you are inside the Bios settings of your PC .open the boot priority option and move your USB to uppermost position (Maximum Priority). Save the changes and exit .
